Dewey's Readathon: Update 2

Yes, I'm STILL reading Emma, by Jane Austen.

Thoughts;
  • I am distressed by the lack of explosions.
  • My WORD do they have the awesomest put-downs or What? Golly!
  • Sly humour ftw.
  • Also, I'm marrying Mr. Knightly. Ah-huh.

Emma is fantastic but it takes SO LONG for anything to happen! Good luck with that. And yeah Knightley is ra-er, very lovely and I would like to have many socially appropriate meetings with him, if he was real.

A limerick for inspiration:

I hope that your day's going well,
That the books you are reading are swell.
A day for just reading
(and mild competing)
Will do us all good, I can tell!

I'm impressed you're reading a classic...I couldn't do it for such a long stretch!

@Bahnree: Oh, surely you jest. You want socially INAPPROPRIATE meetings with Mr. Knightly. ^_^
@Erin: Heheh, thank you! My sister paid 15 pounds to the Childhood Cancer Society to read it. So, how could I say no to that? :P
